Utilities Broadband Committee The UBC promotes opportunities for utilities to deploy wireline and wireless broadband technologies and networks to address utility operations and provide broadband services and infrastructure through middle mile or last mile networks. The UBC addresses business and technical issues related to the deployment, maintenance and operation of broadband technologies, as well as offer legislative and regulatory advocacy and liaisons with other interested organizations. UBC also promotes opportunities to expand broadband funding for utilities, educate and inform members through newsletters, webinars and case studies, and enables networking with utilities.
